Musical legend Bob Dylan will release Modern Times - his first studio album in five years - on 29 August. The album, Dylan's 44th, features 10 original tracks recorded by the singer and his touring band last winter.

"A new Bob Dylan record is an event," said Steve Barnett, chairman of Columbia Records. "Bob is that rare artist whose music defies all trends.
"He continues to be as contemporary and relevant as any artist in music."
Dylan plays keyboard , guitar and harmonica on the record as well as singing the vocals.
His previous studio albums were 1997's Time Out of Mind and 2001's Love and Theft.
Dylan, 65, completed a six-week North American tour last month in Florida.
He can currently be heard in the US on the XM satellite radio service, presenting a weekly show entitled Theme Time Radio Hour.
