 Ice Age 2 has taken a total of �24.7m in the UK |
Cartoon comedy Ice Age 2: The Meltdown has stayed top of the UK box office for a third consecutive week. The prehistoric animated film, which features the voice of hip-hop star Queen Latifah, took �1.89m over the weekend period.
Horror film Silent Hill debuted at number two, while American Dreamz entered the chart at number four.
Other new entries included medieval romance Tristan and Isolde at 10 and Eight Below at number eight.
