Russell Crowe revealed all on the Jay Leno show
Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe has told a US television talk show that he and his wife are having a baby boy.

Crowe and actress wife Danielle Spencer, who are expecting the child in the summer, already have a son.

"Just for you," Crowe told chat show host Jay Leno, "Charlie is going to have a brother."

The actor, who won an Oscar for his role in Gladiator, also revealed that he would be in the delivery room with a video camera when the child is born.

'Stinky'

The New Zealand born star also said his first son, two-year-old Charlie, was aware of the impending arrival and was asked what he wanted to call his new brother.

"His first option was Pumpkinhead. But then the next day he changed it to Stinky," he said.

The actor had previously announced the pregnancy, but had not revealed the sex of the child.

Crowe, 41, started dating Spencer when they met on the film set of The Crossing in 1990.

They split five years later when Crowe left Australia for Hollywood, where he had a high-profile relationship with actress Meg Ryan before returning to Spencer.

The couple married in Australia in April 2003.
