Comic drama Madea's Family Reunion held on to the number one spot in North America's box office chart for a second week running. The film, starring Tyler Perry, made $12.6m (�7.25m) over the weekend. Perry plays a variety of characters including Grandma Madea in the madcap comedy.
New release 16 Blocks, starring Bruce Willis and Mos Def, went straight in at number two in the chart.
Brokeback Mountain, winner of three Oscars on Sunday, was in twelfth spot.
The film, which won Ang Lee the Academy award for best director, was the only one of the five best picture Oscar nominees to still be in the top 12.
It has made $78.9m (�45.49) in the US and Canada since it opened in December. Crash, which won best picture, has made $53m (�30.55m) since its debut in May last year.
Other top US films include sci-fi adventure Ultraviolet, starring Milla Jovovich, slapstick spoof Date Movie and the re-make of The Pink Panther starring Steve Martin.
Tyler Perry's last film, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, also went to number one at the box office in February 2005.
