BBC developing tsunami TV drama
A child digs foundations for a new home in Galle, Sri Lanka
Homes must be built from scratch following the devastating disaster
The writer behind the award-winning Sex Traffic is developing a drama about the Boxing Day tsunami, scheduled to be broadcast on BBC One next year.

Abi Morgan will join forces with Kudos, the production company behind glossy BBC hits Spooks and Hustle, to create the three-hour drama based in Thailand.

She called it accessible, but "not afraid to look at political elements".

The screenwriter recently travelled to the devastated region where more than 220,000 were killed in December 2004.
