Nicole Kidman has been signed up to present an Oscar at next month's Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. She joins the likes of Meryl Streep, Clint Eastwood, Keanu Reeves and Will Smith at the ceremony, which will take place on 5 March.
Kidman won an Oscar for best actress in 2002, for her role as Virginia Woolf in The Hours.
She also received a nomination in 2001 for her leading role in Moulin Rouge, but lost out to Halle Berry.
UN ambassador
Cowboy romance Brokeback Mountain leads the field at this year's Oscars with eight nominations, including best film.
Fellow best film nominees are Good Night, and Good Luck, Crash, Capote and Steven Spielberg's Munich.
Last month Kidman was appointed goodwill ambassador of the United Nations Development Fund (Unifem), promoting women's rights around the world.
The actress will focus on issues such as ending violence against women.
