Oscar-winning actor Robin Williams is suing his own impersonator, alleging Michael Clayton tried to defraud people by posing as the real actor. Mr Clayton and agent Michael Pool allegedly tried to sell bookings for the actor's lookalike without revealing that he was an impersonator.
"He is seeking an injunction to stop them duping innocent and unknowing people," Williams' spokesperson said.
Mr Clayton is also said to have fooled a journalist by posing as Williams.
Mr Pool allegedly told a potential client that he could get Williams to appear at a charity event.

The client then received a phone call from someone purporting to be Williams, impersonating the Scottish accent he used in the 1993 movie Mrs Doubtfire. Convinced, she decided to book the star but was then allegedly told to pay $2,500 (�1,300) to cover his flight.
The Minnesota legal action says that Mr Clayton claimed to be Williams in order to be interviewed by the Star Tribune newspaper in Minneapolis-Saint Paul.
