Andrew Marr and Michael Palin have been named the UK's top radio and TV stars by a broadcasting consumers' group. Voice of the Listener and Viewer (VLV) gave Marr their award for best contribution to radio in 2004 while Palin received the award for TV work.
Marr's BBC Radio 4 show Start the Week was named best radio programme while satirical comedy Bremner, Bird and Fortune was voted best TV show.
VLV is a lobby and campaign group that says it acts on behalf of UK audiences.
Marr is the BBC's political editor and host of Start the Week on Radio 4 every Monday morning. He adds his radio award to the TV version he won in 2002.

Palin fronted his latest globe-trotting show Himalaya last year - and has denied reports that he was planning to retire from travel shows. "My appetite for travel is undiminished - but I'm not yet ready to sign two more years of my life away," he said.
Presenter Tim Marlow was given a special excellence in broadcasting award for his contribution to channel Five arts programming.
The best new television show was BBC Two's Venice, a documentary tracing the history of the city, while Radio 4's Engineering Solutions took best new radio programme.
The awards ceremony in London was hosted by broadcaster Ken Bruce, who handed out engraved crystal bowls.
