Political thriller The Interpreter has remained the most popular film at the UK box office for a second week. The movie, starring Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn, took �1.2m in ticket sales at the weekend.
The Amityville Horror stayed in second place, making �886,000, according to chart compilers Screen International.
The Wedding Date - starring Will and Grace actress Debra Messing - was the highest new entry at number three, with comedy Guess Who in fourth.
Set within the United Nations, The Interpreter entered the US box office chart at number one last weekend.

It US success was attributed to its appeal to older audiences, with over-35s comprising 60% of its audience.
The Wedding Date stars Messing as a woman desperate to annoy her ex-boyfriend at an upcoming wedding.
It also stars UK actors Jack Davenport, from BBC series Coupling and This Life, and Sarah Parish from Cutting It.
Other new entries included Indian film Waqt at number 10, horror movie Cursed at 11 and comedy Beauty Shop at number 13.
