Footballers get reality TV show
Stan Collymore
Stan Collymore has signed up for the series
Football players are letting TV cameras into their homes for a new fly-on-the-wall television show.

Former footballer Stan Collymore and Blackburn player Robbie Savage are two of the names who have signed up to appear on Footballers' Cribs.

The six-episode MTV series will hit TV screens in June.

The show, which follows the success of ITV fictional drama Footballers' Wives, is "dedicated to exploring the homes of footballing heroes".

'Home turf'

MTV Cribs explores the homes of various stars, including intimate footage.

Other players lined up to take part in the series are French Manchester United player Louis Saha, former Chelsea and Italy star Roberto Di Matteo, and Liverpool striker Harry Kewell, whose wife is ex-Emmerdale star Sheree Murphy.

MTV executive producer Sean Murphy said: "Players' lifestyles have never been more high-profile, so to dedicate a series of Cribs to them makes perfect sense.

"We're thrilled to be bringing our viewers an intimate look at these stars' personal style on their very own home turf."
