A homeless man who broke into actress Jennifer Aniston's Malibu house has been sentenced to one year in prison. David Hesterbey, 49, climbed over a 9ft (2.7m) high fence to enter Aniston's rented home in August, before being confronted by her staff.
The Friends star was away filming in Chicago at the time of the incident.
Mr Hesterbey, from Santa Barbara, California, pleaded no contest to the charge of burglary and was ordered to stay away from Ms Aniston for 10 years.
Beach arrest
Mr Hesterbey must also undergo psychological counselling as part of a five-year probationary sentence.
He paid $250 (140) on a taxi ride from Santa Barbara to the actress' Malibu home on 25 August.
Mr Hesterbey told staff at the house that he was "looking for Jennifer" before he fled the building.
He was arrested a short time later as he walked along a beach near her home.
Mr Hesterbey was previously convicted on a separate burglary charge in Santa Barbara County.
Ms Aniston moved into the rented property after splitting with her husband, Hollywood actor Brad Pitt, 41.
The pair were officially divorced on 2 October.
