Rapper Game arrested 'over mask'
The Game
The Game is a protege of 50 Cent
Rapper The Game was arrested in North Carolina for allegedly refusing to remove a Halloween mask and creating a scene in a shopping mall.

Security officers told police the rapper and his entourage were swearing loudly and would not leave.

But The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor, told a TV station he was "arrested for signing autographs".

He was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and released on $500 (282) bail.

Police said that when they arrived at the shopping centre in Greensboro The Game continued "to act up".

'Police over-reaction'

They used pepper spray on a group of his friends after they surrounded officers in a threatening manner.

The Game told WFMY-TV he had been signing an autograph for a little girl when the police arrived, and that police had over-reacted.

He said the arrest had been "unfair" and that he was going to contact his lawyers about the situation.

The Game is a protege of rapper 50 Cent, although the pair did have a public fall out.

Both have admitted being involved in drug dealing in the past and have been shot.
