Sculptor Rachel Whiteread has been commissioned to create the latest artwork to fill the Tate Modern gallery's giant turbine hall. Whiteread, who won the Turner Prize in 1993, will be the sixth artist to fill the 155m by 35m (500ft by 115ft) space.
Anish Kapoor, Olafur Eliasson and Juan Munoz are among those who have already filled the hall on London's Bankside.
Whiteread has not revealed what she will create - but described the project as "an enormous challenge".

"The space is like no other - gargantuan and enveloping," she said. "I hope to challenge the space by developing a degree of intimacy, which somehow relates to all our lives."
Previous works in the gallery's Unilever Series have typically been big, bold and expressive visual works.
Her sculpture will be in the gallery for more than five months from October. It will replace Bruce Nauman's sound installation Raw Materials, which will be there until 2 May.
