Design duo to front Five's Farm
Justin Ryan and Colin McAllister
McAllister and Ryan signed a deal with Five in 2004
Scottish design duo Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan have been signed up to host the new series of Five's reality show The Farm.

The pair, who signed a two-year deal with the channel in 2004, have hosted a number of BBC shows including The Million Pound Property Experiment.

"Having watched The Farm as a viewer it's exciting to be in the thick of the action this time," Ryan said.

The show follows celebrities as they spend a fortnight living on a farm.

Among those who were featured in the first series were Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee, Rebecca Loos, actress Margi Clarke and rapper Vanilla Ice.

The new series is scheduled to begin in the spring with nine new celebrities, who have yet to be named, set to take part.

"I loved the first series of The Farm," McAllister said.

"It gave viewers the chance to see celebrities dealing with a very real situation."
