Emmerdale actress Adele Silva, who played temptress Kelly Windsor in the soap, is to return to the show five years after she left. During the actress's stint on the soap her character was involved in some of the most controversial storylines.
An Emmerdale spokeswoman said: "Kelly has some grievances to settle and will be stirring things up from the moment she arrives back in the village."
Silva has recently appeared on Celebrity Fear Factor and The Salon.
Old friends
"I'm very excited and can't wait to start filming," said the 24-year-old actress.
"It will be interesting to see what Kelly has been up to during the past five years and I'm looking forward to catching up with some old friends at Emmerdale."
The actress's seven-year Emmerdale run began in 1993 and saw her soap character have an affair with step-brother Scott, played by Ben Freeman, as well as attempting suicide.
Silva's character was last seen heading for London after a row with her step-mother Viv, played by Deena Payne.
