Little Britain's special Comic Relief DVD has become one of retail chain HMV's fastest sellers, with 110,000 copies sold in four days. The fundraising edition features singer Robbie Williams dressed in drag as a "laydee" alongside comedians Matt Lucas and David Walliams.
The DVD also includes special performances by pop icons Sir Elton John and George Michael.
Comic Relief returns to BBC One for its 20th anniversary on Friday 11 March.
Comic Relief chief executive Kevin Cahill said: "We've been blown away with the amazing response to the DVD. The money raised from these sales will make a real difference to people in the UK and Africa."
Live telethon
The DVD sees Sir Elton John being interviewed by the show's Welsh character Daffyd who claims to be the "only gay in the village".
George Michael makes his Little Britain debut with the mischievous wheelchair-bound Andy whilst Lucas's character Vicky Pollard appears in an episode of TV talk show Trisha.
The focus of this year's Comic Relief is poverty and social injustice, with funds split between the UK and Africa.
The live seven-hour telethon on BBC One will include performances by comedians Peter Kay, Dawn French, Ricky Gervais, Ruby Wax and Lenny Henry.
There will also be a second series of Celebrity Fame Academy, with the finale being held during the fundraising event.
