Rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his band Black Sabbath will headline Denmark's Roskilde Festival this summer.

Other bands appearing at the event - which will run between 30 June and 3 July - include US band Green Day and UK acts Jamie Cullum and The Go! Team.

Last year over 150 artists performed at the festival including the Pixies, Morrissey and Avril Lavigne.

The festival, which was first held in 1971, regularly attracts over 75,000 visitors from around the world.

Renaissance

The outdoor festival takes place in Roskilde, 25 miles west of Copenhagen.

British-born Osbourne found fame with Black Sabbath in the 1970s, before embarking upon a solo career.

He has recently enjoyed a renaissance after appearing with his family on MTV reality show The Osbournes, which is in its fourth series.

The singer was forced to pull out of a Royal Variety Performance in the UK in December following a quad bike accident which left him with a shoulder injury.

Meanwhile, REM have been confirmed as headliners for the UK's Isle of Wight festival, which will run between 10-12 June.
