 R&B singer Usher has broken chart records in the US |
US star Usher remains on top of the chart, defeating a bid to secure Elvis Presley his record 19th UK number one. The singer is number one for a second week with the single Burn, with Britney Spears at number two with Everytime.
Presley's That's All Right - released in the UK to mark its 50th anniversary - was a new entry at number three.
Teen pop act McFly went straight to the top of the album chart, knocking the Scissor Sisters' self-titled album into third place.

Party in the Park star Will Young entered the singles chart in fourth place with Friday's Child.

Nina Sky - teenage identical twins Natalie and Nicole Albino from New York - also won a new entry with their single Move Ya Body at number six. Presley's debut single That's All Right is widely regarded as the first rock 'n' roll record.
Never previously released as a single in the UK, That's All Right was sold as a CD single and a limited 10-inch single in a bid to secure the number one slot.
Presley's number one UK singles included Jailhouse Rock, Are You Lonesome Tonight and Return to Sender.
R&B singer Usher made US chart history in May when he had three singles in the Billboard top 10 simultaneously, a feat only previously matched by the Beatles and the Bee Gees.
