Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez have had a low-profile relationship

The pair were wed in front of 40 guests on Saturday evening, US magazines People and Us Weekly said.

It would be the third marriage for Lopez, who ended her engagement to actor Ben Affleck in January.

Salsa singer Anthony divorced former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres last week. Representatives for Lopez and Anthony were unavailable for comment.

Decoy brides

Lopez, 33, married waiter Ojani Noa in 1997 and dancer Cris Judd in 2001.

But last September she and Affleck cancelled their planned Los Angeles wedding, blaming "excessive media attention".

"When we found ourselves seriously contemplating hiring three separate 'decoy brides' at three different locations, we realised that something was awry," Affleck and Lopez said in a joint statement. They confirmed their split four months later.
