TV couple Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan have signed a deal reputedly worth millions to stay with Channel 4 for another three years. Their contract has been renewed until December 2007, reportedly making them the highest paid couple on TV.
A Channel 4 spokesman confirmed the contract with their production company Cactus TV involved a seven-figure sum.
The husband and wife team joined Channel 4 in November 2001. Their teatime show gets up to 2.6m viewers.
After a faltering start, the show - aired on weekdays at 1700 - gained in popularity and went on to secure a string of high-profile guests.
They included the first live TV interview with Rebecca Loos, who alleges she had an affair with married footballer David Beckham.

Other high-profile guests have included former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, ex-first lady Hillary Clinton and Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell.
Madeley said the couple felt at home on the network and were pleased to extend their contract.
"This new commission is a testament to the whole team at Cactus who've worked so hard to turn this into the show we've always wanted to make," he said.
Thanking viewers, Finnigan added: "They certainly keep us on our toes and make sure we deliver them a show they want to keep turning on to."
