BBC thriller State of Play, which starred John Simm and Bill Nighy, has won two Bafta craft awards. It took editing and sound prizes in the British Academy Television Craft Awards fiction/entertainment category.
Historical drama Charles II: The Power and the Passion also claimed two awards in that category, for its costume design, photography and lighting.
Nighy attended the Sunday ceremony at London's Dorchester Park Lane, compered by impressionist Alistair McGowan.
State of Play tells the story of a team on investigative journalists looking into the mysterious death of a political researcher.
Monster success
One of the journalists make the link between her death and that of a teenage drug dealer.
The event attracted celebrity guests including Martin Bashir, Gina McKee and Quentin Wilson.
Drama The Little Life, about a man whose child is born three months premature and causes the breakdown of his marriage, also won awards for new writer and new director fiction.
The BBC's ground-breaking prehistoric natural history series Sea Monsters - A Walking With Dinosaurs Trilogy won best visual effects.
Cult comedy Little Britain, which stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas, won the award for make up and hair design.
