Audience figures for EastEnders climbed back up on Thursday after plunging to one of their lowest levels earlier in the week. Overnight ratings showed the BBC One soap attracted 6.2m viewers on Tuesday, compared to 8.1m for ITV1's Emmerdale.
But that figure had risen to 10.1m for Thursday night's episode - a 49% audience share.

Hospital drama
ITV1's Emmerdale was watched by 8.5m people in the 1900 to 1930 BST slot on Thursday night, while police drama The Bill - which started at 2000 BST - drew an audience of 6.6m.
Ratings for the BBC One's Fat Nation: The Big Challenge, which was on after EastEnders at 2000 BST, got 3.5m viewers.
Ms Berridge left EastEnders to "move on to new challenges" after ratings fell from an average of 13 million at the start of 2004 to 11 million in June.
She will be replaced by Kathleen Hutchison, currently executive producer of BBC One hospital series Holby City.
