Stars of the big budget movie Van Helsing have attended the film's premiere in Los Angeles. British actress Kate Beckinsale joined the film's lead actor Hugh Jackman at the charity gala screening on Monday.
The premiere will benefit the University of California School of Cinema-Television, where director Stephen Sommers was a student.
The film sees Jackman play the monster-hunter Van Helsing as he tracks down Dracula and Frankenstein's monster.

It is expected to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer, although it will face stiff competition from films such as Troy, Shrek 2 and Spider-Man 2. It opens in the US and UK on Friday.
Other actors involved in the project include Robbie Coltrane and ballet star Will Kemp, who was a principal dancer in choreographer Matthew Bourne's celebrated all-male Swan Lake.
The Van Helsing premiere was held at California's Universal Amphitheatre.
Director Sommers' previous films include The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, both of which employed state-of-the art special effects.
