The Libertines have entered the album chart at number one in the week that ex-member Pete Doherty narrowly escaped a prison sentence. The band's self-titled second album knocked Prodigy from the top of the chart, with Maroon 5 at number two.
Doherty, who parted company with The Libertines earlier this year, was given a suspended four month jail sentence for possession of a flick knife.
US rapper Nelly entered the singles chart at number one with My Place.
The single, a double A-side also featuring the song Flap Your Wings, ended Natasha Bedingfield's two-week chart reign.
