Eminem's ex-wife given probation
Kimberly Mathers in court in Michigan on July 1, 2003
Kimberly Mathers married Eminem in 1999
Eminem's ex-wife, Kimberly Mathers, has been sentenced to two years' probation after pleading guilty to a drug charge and a driving offence.

Mathers, 28, pleaded guilty last month to a charge of possessing cocaine after she was arrested by police for road traffic offences.

Michigan circuit Judge Edward Servitto dismissed a third charge of driving with a suspended licence.

Probation conditions include not using alcohol or non-prescription drugs.

Mathers also has to undergo random drug testing as well as substance abuse evaluation and treatment.

The charges will be dismissed if Mathers successfully completes probation.

But the judge told Mathers he would send her to jail if she violated any of the terms.

Last October, Mathers was electronically tagged after missing two court appearances.

Ms Mathers divorced award-winning rap star Eminem - real name Marshall Mathers III - in 2001 following a reportedly stormy marriage.

They married in June 1999 and had a daughter, Hailie Jade.

Eminem has rapped in his songs about killing his former wife, leading to accusations that he dislikes women.

Kimberly Mathers previously sued her former husband for defamation over the lyrics in his song, Kim.
