Les Dennis and Amanda Holden married in 1995 |
TV stars Les Dennis and Amanda Holden have been granted a "quickie" divorce on the grounds of his adultery. Court papers show Dennis, 49, admitted to Holden, 32, in January of "ongoing adultery" with an unnamed woman.
The pair split in December 2002 after seven years of marriage, having said no-one else had been involved.
Holden, star of TV drama Cutting It, had a well-publicised but brief affair with Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey in 2000.
The divorce was granted at the High Court's Family Division in London by District Judge Roberts. The process took just 75 seconds to complete under a fast-track system.

In papers admitted to the court, Holden was asked when she first knew about Dennis' adultery. "The respondent informed me of his adultery in January 2003. The adultery is continuing," she said.
Holden answered yes to the question of whether she found Dennis "intolerable" to live with.
They had not lived together since January 2003, she said.
In another document, Dennis said he did not intend to defend the case and, when asked if he admitted the adultery, replied: "Yes."
Summer season
The pair met during a summer season in Bournemouth where they were appearing in different shows.
At the time, Holden was an unknown 22-year-old actress and Dennis had made his name as a television entertainer.
They married in 1995, but Holden's heavily publicised affair with Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey in 2000 saw them split temporarily.
After a brief reconciliation the couple called it a day in December 2002, saying it had been an "amicable" decision.
