Filming is due to start on a Wallace and Gromit movie after two years of preparation. The animated duo will star in Curse Of The Wererabbit, featuring the voices of Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes.
They will play two new characters, Lady Tottington and Lord Victor Quartermaine. Peter Sallis will again provide the voice of Wallace.
Wallace and Gromit, created by Nick Park, are also to advertise Jacob's Cream Crackers in a TV campaign.
The movie is expected to be 18 months in production, and is due for release by Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks Pictures in September 2005.
Bristol-based producers Aardman were behind the full-length feature Chicken Run in 2000, made by Park with his friend and colleague Peter Lord.
Wallace and Gromit's last 30-minute TV outing was in 1995 in A Close Shave.
Park's classic adventure The Wrong Trousers appeared in 1993, following A Grand Day Out in 1989.
