Rapper sued for bouncer 'assault'
Sean 'P Diddy' Combs
Combs owns the New York restaurant Justin's
Rapper Sean Combs, aka P Diddy, is being sued for $5m (3.20m) by a woman who says she was assaulted by a bouncer outside his New York restaurant.

Stephanie Grieso, 35, said she was arguing outside Justin's in August 2002 when a bouncer grabbed her by the neck.

She said she was dragged down the pavement, causing leg injuries.

Combs' lawyer said the rapper would fight the lawsuit, lodged in Queens.

"This lady is in for a rude awakening because unlike other superstars, Puffy fights these lawsuits," said lawyer Benjamin Brafman.

The rapper and producer, best-known for his 1997 hit I'll Be Missing You, was the target of another lawsuit earlier this month.

Two men sued him for $25m (16.02m) each after saying Combs' security team had attacked them for no reason at the star's recording studio.
