Nush evicted from Big Brother house
Big Brother's Nush
Nush was the favourite to be evicted
Nush Nowak was the ninth person to be voted out of Big Brother 4 on Friday night.

In a post-eviction live interview with the show's presenter Davina McCall she said that Scott Turner, the housemate she had been closest to was "brilliant" - but she did not want to have a relationship with him.

"I want to be friends with him for a very long time... we were just good friends," she said.

Nush, 23, a student from Malvern, had been nominated this week alongside Cameron Stout, 32, a fish trader from Orkney, for the final eviction before the show ends next week.

She said she had been upset when she had learned she had been dumped by her boyfriend for kissing Scott, after a member of the public shouted the news over the fence.

"It's kind of personal... it is hard to stay in love with somebody when he spends 10 months of the year away from you," she said in the interview.

Nush said she had enjoyed the return of housemateJon Tickle, who had been voted back in by the public last week.

"He's been a lot more chilled that he was in the first couple of weeks," she said.

She said she did not know who was going to win, gesturing to the public and saying "it's up to them to decide".

Eviction favourite

Before she left she made up with housemate Steph Coldicutt, after having arguments with her earlier in the show.

When Nush was told she had been voted out she hugged her fellow housemates and prepared to pack her belongings - with a glass of cider and a cigarette.

She had been the clear favourite to leave despite the tabloids' interest in her relationships and the speculation about her friendship with Scott.

There are now just four contestants left vying for the 70,000 winnings.

Caution

Returning housemate Jon cannot win because he has already been evicted once.

He was cautioned by Big Brother on Friday for mentioning events from outside the house.

It is not yet known what process will be used to pick the ultimate winner or how the remaining housemates will be leaving, but the victor will be announced on 25 July.

The show, which has been running for eight weeks, has attracted about 4.5 million viewers each night, with more tuning in for the live eviction nights.

There has been no clear favourite to win with the odds on the winner constantly changing.

'No more surprises'

William Hill bookmakers now has Cameron as favourite to win with odds of 1/1, with Scott in second place on 13/8.

The last female contestant Steph is ranked as an outsider.

In a webchat on the programme's website on Thursday, executive producer Gigi Elilgoloff said there would be no more surprises for the remaining housemates in their final week.

"We think that after tomorrow night's eviction that viewers deserve the chance to get the time to watch and decide who they want to win Big Brother 4," she said.
