 High kicks and glamour in the Charlie's Angels sequel |
Action movie Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle has gone straight in at the top of the UK box office chart.
The sequel based on the 1970s TV detective series took an estimated �3.27m in its opening weekend, according to figures from Screen International.
The angels - Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu - knocked Jim Carrey's comedy Bruce Almighty off the number one spot after just one week.

Bruce Almighty was close behind in takings with �3.25m, taking its two-week total to �13.39m.
Action movie 2 Fast 2 Furious slipped a place to three, as did The Matrix Reloaded, to number four.
In an otherwise slow summer week at the box office, the only other new entry in the top 10 was Disney's Pooh spin-off Piglet's Big Movie, in at 10.
