Beyonce Knowles: Debut album hits the top |
Destiny's Child singer Beyonce Knowles' debut solo album has entered the UK charts at number one. Dangerously In Love knocked Evanesence's Fallen from the top of the chart in its first week of release.
Knowles launched a solo career last year after her father, Destiny's Child manager Matthew Knowles, announced the R&B trio were to "take a little break".
Her debut solo single Work It Out was released last summer, and she followed that earlier this year with Crazy In Love.
