UK fans of rock group Radiohead will get a chance to see the band during an arena tour in November, it has been reported.

The group are due to headline the Glastonbury festival and a small UK tour in June - but those dates sold out in 24 hours.

They are now lining up a full tour at the end of the year, according to music website NME.com.

There There, the first single from their new album, was given its first play on BBC Radio 1 on Monday.

The single will be released in the UK on 26 May, followed by their sixth studio album, Hail To The Thief, on 9 June.

NME reported that the autumn tour would take in "huge" venues compared with the more intimate venues to be visited in the UK and Ireland in May.

A spokesman for their record company, Parlophone, was unable to confirm or deny the report.

Radiohead's tour of small venues kicks off at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin - which holds 1,300 people - on 17 May before visiting Belfast, Edinburgh, Manchester and London.

They will be the group's first UK shows since 2001.

Radiohead are one of the biggest rock groups in the UK, and one of the few UK bands to have transferred their success to the United States.

A string of festival dates in Europe in June have also been lined up, including the top slot at Glastonbury on Saturday 28 June.

At the start of April, unfinished mixes of tracks from Hail To The Thief appeared on the internet more than two months before release.

Guitarist Jonny Greenwood said he felt "bemused, though not annoyed" by the leak.

"It's a little earlier than we'd expected, but there it is," he said.

Most of the songs had been previewed at shows in Spain and Portugal last year.
