Stones anger at Jagger knighthood
Rolling Stones' guitarist Keith Richards threatened to pull out of the band's current tour to protest at Mick Jagger accepting a knighthood.

"What did I feel when I heard about the knighthood? Cold, cold rage at his blind stupidity," Richards told Mojo magazine.

Drummer Charlie Watts waded in saying: "I wouldn't want a knighthood. I wouldn't want anything off of Tony Blair. But Mick really enjoyed it so I'm very pleased for him"

Richards eventually reconciled himself with the fact Jaggar accepted the knighthood, but still believes it was an error.

David, carved from a single block of marble from 1501-1504, depicts the biblical character who killed Goliath with a slingshot.

Celine Dion parody blocked

A Canadian radio station has pulled a parody of a Celine Dion track after complaints from her husband and manager, Rene Angelil.

Angelil demanded the Montreal-based Radio Energie group withdraw the parody of I'm Alive, which brands his wife "annoying", saying it was a breach of copyright law.

"They took off her voice and invented vulgar lyrics. It's unacceptable," he told reporters on Thursday.

The radio station said it was only trying to be funny, but withdrew the track on Thursday.
