Late singer Aaliyah scored a second posthumous hit with Rock The Boat.

Keating's chart triumph marks his third number one as a solo artist. It follows Life Is A Rollercoaster and When You Say Nothing At All.

It makes him the only member of Boyzone to have achieved solo success.

The group have never officially stated that they have broken up.

Valance has left Neighbours

Yet, they have not performed together or released a single for more than two years.

Keating's latest number one will be a disappointment to Australian soap star Valance.

Her hit Kiss Kiss, a cover version of a song by top Turkish pop star Tarkan, shot to the top of the charts last week.

Valance has quit acting to concentrate on music, although UK viewers can still see her in Neighbours as Flick Scully.

Meanwhile, the arrival of H and Claire in the chart well ahead of Fay Tozer could stir up feelings among former Steps fans.

Steps split up on Boxing Day, upsetting their legions of young followers.

In just a few years the band had notched up sales of 12m singles and were quickly likened to Abba for their catchy songs - such as Tragedy and Better Best Forgotten - and explosive live shows.

R&B singer Aaliyah was one of nine people killed in a plane crash in the Bahamas on 25 August last year.

Her death, at the age of 22, generated an outpouring of grief from her fans around the world.

She had her first posthumous UK number one in January with More Than A Woman.
