The Neighbours actress reached the top with Kiss Kiss, a cover version of a song by top Turkish pop star Tarkan. She dislodged the Sugababes' Freak Like Me after just one week. The 19-year-old has been in the UK promoting her career change and has set temperatures soaring with her risqu� video in which it appears as if she is naked. Although Valance quit acting to concentrate on her music career, UK viewers can still see her in Neighbours as Flick Scully. The second highest new entry was from Missy Elliot prot�g�e Tweet, who debuted at number five with Oops (Oh My), followed closely by Shakedown with At Night at six.
American rock band Nickelback's How You Remind Me has slipped from number five to seven after 10 weeks. But they can be cheered by the news their album has gone up one place to number two, 32 weeks after it was released. Latin star Shakira has also fallen two places to number eight with her hit Whenever Wherever.
