The BBC reserves the right to edit comments that are published.The site acts as an enduring showcase for Michael Bentine's work, such as his collaboration on The Goons and his own Potty Time show. But it also pays tribute to a wide range of true British classics, such as Monty Python and The Benny Hill Show, using text, video and audio. "ClassicComedy.net has fewer bells and whistles than some of the comedy sites out there, particularly the Monty Python ones," said BBC News Online's Brian Wheeler. "But it is put together with obvious knowledge and affection." But what do you think? Can comedy be truly funny on the internet?
