Claire and H will be the show's new faces

A spokesperson for the programme said fans were going to miss Deeley but were excited about the future.

"People are looking forward to H and Claire, and Brian and Tess make a great team," said the spokesperson.

However, Deeley will carry on presenting cd:uk, the pop show that follows immediately after SM:tv.

Deeley's last SM:tv included appearances from pop star guests Atomic Kitten and Stereophonics.

There wasl also a look back over Deeley's time the programme.

The presenter reportedly said in January that she was sorry to be leaving SM:tv.

Ant and Dec left SM:tv in December

"I have been offered exciting projects, and I was torn between these and leaving the show I love," she told The Sun newspaper.

"By continuing with cd:uk, I can still be a part of the great team and concentrate on new projects as well."

In December, Deeley beat her former co-presenters Ant and Dec to win Best Presenter at the Children's Bafta awards.

Deeley has been working with Daly and Big Brother winner Dowling since Ant and Dec left.

At first, ITV1 bosses feared the loss of Ant and Dec would see a loss in viewers.

But ratings have remained consistent, and well ahead of those for BBC One's The Saturday Show.

The show's spokesperson said H and Claire's arrival would also see the introduction of new sketches but no other immediate changes.
