 | | Monday, 11 March, 2002, 17:57 GMT Britney denies split  Britney met Justin Timberlake in 1993 Britney Spears has denied rumours that she has split from boyfriend Justin Timberlake. Friends of the couple were quoted in newspapers as saying the 20-year-old N'Sync singer Timberlake ended their relationship a week ago. But Spears told MTV Italy: "No, that's not true. Me and Justin did not split up."
Britney recently denied rumours she and Timberlake were planning to get married on Valentine's Day. But she revealed that the pair were engaged. Speaking in January, she said: "We do want to get married and have kids and stuff like that - however, maybe in 15 years time." She and Timberlake were a couple for two years, but first met on the Disney TV show The Mickey Mouse Club in 1993.
