Tatiana Lee has also written a moving note to her husband, who she refers to as "my angel".
Jon, whose band had enjoyed chart success last year, was found dead at his family's Miami home on 7 January. He was 33. Ms Lee and her two children have already held a private service in the United States, where they live, and will not be attending Jon's funeral in Wales on Friday, she said. Ms Lee wrote in the message to her husband that she would be "your wife for eternity". "Thank you for the most beautiful memories of my life, for our children's life, for true love, partnership, friendship, for the laughter and for the things only the two of us know," she wrote. "I will love you with every beat of my broken heart, as I always have and always will. We are invincible. Nothing will part us. I will see you soon, my love, my life and my world."
In it, she said she was "deeply disgusted" with some "very false, untrue and appalling publications" reporting on her husband's death. Detectives in Florida believe marital problems may have been a cause of the suicide, and revealed that Jon made a final phone call to his wife before hanging himself, according to the NME's website. Ms Lee said support from fans had been "very much needed and appreciated". "I ask that my husband be respected and remembered for the beautiful person that he was so that he may finally be in peace.
She did not know why her husband took his own life, she said, but would "respect his wishes" so he could find peace. There were "no words to describe" the pain and suffering she, her children and Jon's parents were going through, she wrote. Jon and Tatiana had one child together, Cameron, two, while she has an older son, Nick, from a previous relationship. 'Wonderful father' "Jon was the most loving, generous, kind, beautiful man there ever will be. He was my best friend, my husband, my love, my breath, my entire life," she wrote. "He was the most wonderful father in the world and our children meant the world to him." "My children and I have had our services in Miami for our Jon and therefore will not be at his service this coming Friday in Wales," she wrote. Jon's family recently said fans would be welcome at his funeral. | See also: Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Top Music stories now: Links to more Music stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
