| Sunday, 13 January, 2002, 15:28 GMT Pitt and Aniston settle rings case ![]() The couple married in July 2000 Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have reached a settlement with a jewellery designer they accused of copying their wedding rings. The couple filed a $50m lawsuit against Silvia Damiani and Damiani international, claiming the company was reproducing and selling the rings, which were designed by Ocean's Eleven star Pitt.
Under the agreement, Pitt will design an exclusive jewellery collection for Damiani, while Aniston will appear in Damiani advertising. Pitt designed the distinctive rings himself for the wedding in July 2000. They are made of white gold and diamonds with Aniston's engraved with the words "Brad 2000", and Pitt's bearing the words "Jen 2000".
