| Friday, 21 December, 2001, 17:44 GMT Half-Life: Your views ![]() Half-Life casts you as a scientist in a top secret lab Half-Life has been a hugely successful PC game since it was first launched in 1998 and now it has been revamped for the Playstation 2. Disclaimer: The BBC will put up as many of your comments as possible but we cannot guarantee that all e-mails will be published. The BBC reserves the right to edit comments that are published."Some elements of the game have been tweaked, with enhanced graphics and improved characters and environments," says the BBC News Online's Alfred Hermida. He added: "But the PS2 version succeeds in retaining the exciting and challenging nature of the original." But what do you think? Has it changed much from the PC version? Is it a worthy addition to your PS2 games collection? Nihilism was never so diverting. Yes, the PS2 version will reach gamers who doesn't have a PC. But the secret of Half-Life Longivity is it's ability to add mods to the game such as Counter-Strike and Team Fortress. I'm afraid that the game as it stands will not prove to be as much of a success as the PC as been. Half life.. the ultimate excuse not to go to your physics lesson. What an amazing game, with more twists than a track at Monacco. | Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Top Reviews stories now: Links to more Reviews stories are at the foot of the page. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
