Ms Halliwell's stage outfits and other mementoes of her Spice Girls days are the centre-piece of the two-day sale. Lots include the Union flag dress she wore to the 1997 Brit Awards, valued at �12,000, and the red MGB roadster which she bought with her first royalty cheque. Organisers want to raise over �50,000 for the Sargent Cancer Care For Children charity with the 80 lots donated by the singer.
The book, which also contains jottings, doodles and notes, was compiled by road manager Mal Evans between 1967 and 1968. It is expected to fetch between �90,000 and �120,000. Beatles fans can also bid for Ringo Starr's 1966 Mini Cooper, fully restored and on sale for �30,000. As well as the Spice Girls and Beatles memorabilia, there is also a guitar signed by the members of Oasis with a message from songwriter Noel Gallagher, "Play Harder". There are also items from the Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix.
