Having missed out on a Mercury Music prize in September, the Super Furry Animals hit the road with their Rings Around The World LP material.

They played their homecoming gig at the Cardiff International Arena on Friday night, their last UK date before heading for Japan.

"Challenged in a fashion we should have come to know, love and expect from SFA, the crowd left thoroughly confused, delightfully happy and diplomatically aware," wrote the BBC's Robert Andrews.
