In pictures: Notting Hill Carnival day two
After a disappointing show due to the rain on day one of the 37th Notting Hill Carnival, sunshine lifted attendance for day two on Monday.

West London rocked as estimated crowds of up to 800,000 braved the heat for a spectacular show of floats, music and dance.

Despite the heavy police presence, Carnival organisers dubbed it the most "relaxed" in years.
