BBC News Online brings you some of the 101 ways to sell your Edinburgh Fringe Festival show. ![]() Street acts queue daily for a license to perform. Despite appearances the gentlemen on the left are not in a show. ![]() You get accosted with flyers and stunts at all angles, but this act chose a more peaceful promotion ![]() There are so many musicians on the streets it can be hard to distinguish between them. ![]() One of the more unusual musical instruments on display - it sounded, um, weird. ![]() Classic Fringe: They are much derided but the mime artists draw huge audiences and many are very good ![]() Many visitors come for tartan and bagpipes.
