More than 80,000 techno fans took to the streets of Berlin for what is said to be the world's biggest dance music party on Saturday, 21 July.

Thousands of ravers gathered around the Victory Column

Opponents had feared damage to the Tiergarten park

Attendance was down from last year's 1.3 million

The Parade went down the city's central June 17th Avenue

Some 50 "techno-wagons" played music along the route

The event was first held in 1989 and this was its 13th year

Techno fans travel from all over the world for the event

Many revellers got dressed up - or down - for the outdoor party
