Pitt designed the distinctive rings himself for the wedding in July last year. They are made of white gold and diamonds with Aniston's engraved with the words "Brad 2000", and Pitt's bearing the words "Jen 2000". The couple allege Damiani agreed never to reproduce them. Used as decoys The lawsuit seeks an injunction against Damiani from selling the rings and using the names and images of the Hollywood celebrity couple in its advertising. The complaint alleges that Damiani named the jewellery "Brad and Jennifer white-gold wedding bands with diamonds." The lawsuit said Damiani had sought to obtain the "purported endorsement and sponsorship of perhaps the world's most recognisable couple". The complaint said that Damiani had essentially made Pitt and Aniston serve as decoys as it hawked its jewellery to potential customers. |
