 | | Sunday, 17 June, 2001, 18:18 GMT 19:18 UK Chart entry for the late 2Pac  Tupac Shakur was signed to the Death Row label The late Tupac Shakur has scored a top five chart hit in the UK four years after he was gunned down in a suspected gangland shooting. The former Death Row records star has entered the charts at number four with Until the End of Time, making it the second highest entry. But ragga star Shaggy has held on to the top spot for a third week with Angel, while his previous chart topper It Wasn't Me is hanging on at number 39. The highest new entry is from female garage trio Mis-Teeq with All I Want at number two.
The rapper was labelmates with the likes of Dr Dre and Snoop Doggy Dog, under their mentor Marion "Suge" Knight, who has just been released from jail. As well as a successful underground music career, Shakur also made starred in movies such as Poetic Justice alongside Janet Jackson. But trouble followed him around and he was seriously injured twice in separate gun attacks before the fatal hit. His record company has released an number of posthumous titles from Shakur's back catalogue.
