With retail sales topping 110m and an audience which consists of 80% of Britain's two to six year olds, the BBC's hit children's TV show is undoubtedly one of the most popular ever. Launched in September 1999, the colourful and jolly foursome are now on TV in countries around the world from Hong Kong to South Africa. Their new computer game will no doubt appeal enormously to young fans. Packed with engaging activities and starring Milo, Jake, Fizz and Bella, the developers have tried to keep the same sense of fun and involvement seen in the TV series.
And now, Tweenies - Game Time builds on these core activities by drawing on the idea of building a fantasy world, involving players in a number of games which encourage imaginative interactive learning. Children get to pick their favourite Tweenies character, choose any of the following games then go off and create their own fantasy world:
BBC research has found that 90% of parents with children aged three to five years old said that they trust the Tweenies to entertain their children and make learning fun. With this being the case, it looks very likely that Tweenies - Game Time for the PlayStation will be immensely popular - by both children and adults alike when it goes on sale from 30 March. | See also: Top Reviews stories now: Links to more Reviews stories are at the foot of the page. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
