| Wednesday, 7 March, 2001, 14:54 GMT Trespass charge for Anderson intruder ![]() A threat to Anderson's privacy, but not her well-being A 27-year old French woman has been charged with trespassing on the property of former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson. Christine Evelyn Roth was arrested on Sunday after allegedly entering Anderson's home in Malibu, California. On Tuesday a Malibu Superior Court charged Roth with trespass, but a charge of stalking was dropped because of insufficient evidence. The date of the trial will be announced after the completion of psychiatric tests on Roth, Malibu Deputy District Attorney Martin Herscovitz said. Stalking charge dropped Roth was arrested for trespassing after Anderson found an intruder in the guest bedroom of her home. She was later jailed on suspicion of stalking Miss Anderson. The stalking charged was later dropped for lack of evidence. Mr Herscovitz said, "I think she wanted to see Pamela Anderson but there was no evidence she was there to hurt her or threaten her." There are reports that Roth was also spotted on Anderson's property on 17 February but left before police arrived. |
